Robert Lenghan has more than 35 years of experience in the field of management, such as change management, project management, event management, coaching, training, communication, and many others, in public and private industry.
NATIVE: Born in Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada in 1943, Robert Lenghan is the only son of Louise Richard and Marcel Lenghan. He is the father of 2 children, Éric and Mélissa.
TRAINING: Robert Lenghan graduated in 1971 from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, UQTR (Canada) in accounting and management, a multidisciplinary program. He continued his studies in social training and corporate behavior, change management, work planning, and others. He worked as an educator and training co-ordinator, bearer of a certificate of training accredited by Emploi Québec.
PROFESSIONAL CORPORATIONS: He was a member of the Corporation professionnelle des Administrateurs Agréés du Québec (Adm.A.) and of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) for 10 years.
GENERAL PRESENTATION: M. Lenghan has more than 35 years of experience in the field of management, such as change management, project management, event management, coaching, training, communication, and many others, in public and private industries.
From 1963 to 1974, he was in charge of the day-to-day administration for the Ministère du Travail et de la Main-d’oeuvre of the Government of Québec.
From 1975 to 1989, he was the accountant and manager of his own company (self-employed). He then changed the orientation of his career path to be closer to information and communication, training and consultation, for private and public sectors, to help organizations develop a better team spirit and to help during the organizational and operational changes.
From 1989 to 2009, he mainly worked as a consultant in Québec city, where he gained an excellent reputation as a project co-ordinator. He contributed at the execution of strategic projects with different organisms, such as:
- Commission de la santé et de la sécurité (CSST) of Québec : during 12 years, he participated in many projects in change management and training (strategic, training programs, conception of instructive material and broadcaster of training and information);
- Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) : he worked as a consultant in organization and change management in the project of the Carte Santé du Québec. All these projects were completed with the participation of internal and external resources within multidisciplinary teams.
IN SUMMARY: As a consultant, M. Lenghan has shared his knowledge to benefit the customers by proposing effective, realist, original and profitable solutions that respected their resources, by a pragmatic and an efficient approach, the goal being tangible results. Dynamic, firm believer in communication, teamwork, sharing knowledge, harmony, innovation, originality, rigor and action based on results, they are the main characteristics of his personality.
2009 until now: M. Lenghan is an external consultant on management and organization for Les Éditions ATMA Internationales, an important publisher at a national and international level that has its head office in Québec, Canada.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: For the past 10 years, Robert Lenghan has attended workshop, training, conferences, meditations, and many others. He has a master in REIKI.
SPORTS: Golfing, alpine skiing, cycling, skating, fishing.
HOBBYS: Travelling, reading personal and professional development’s books, walking in nature, doing yoga, watching movies, tinkering.
